It is Written

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written,
I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV

The only thing that limits the Spirit of Faith is your lack of knowledge and obedience to God’s word.
Your actions will always follow what you believe.  Many of us seem to stay at the same place, comfortable
yet never moving any further.
Have you ever stopped to wonder why?
Have you ever even thought about it?
Knowledge of God’s word is just the beginning; you have to go further to really feel God’s word.
As we approach the end of yet another year, stop and take inventory.
Are you at the same place now that you were at this time last year?
Do you still believe for the same thing or have you just followed
the belief that “it was never meant for you.’
Do you want to move on?
You have got to start reading God’s word and accepting what God gives you,
not just attending church and getting whatever God gives the pastor to give to you.
Once you begin to read and study the word take Paul’s’ advice, ‘I believed therefore have I spoken’.
Knowledge all day long by itself is about as useful as looking at a steak dinner without eating it.
Oh you have the knowledge of how good it will taste but until you eat it, it does you no good.
You will forever be walking circles in the dark,
until you open up the word of God to see what He has to say about the situation you are in.
Read 2 Corinthians 4:13 again.
The only difference between your faith and Paul’s faith is that Paul acted on his faith.
Faith believes, and then faith speaks according to what it believes.
Most of us have at one time or another gone out on a limb,
but never stayed long enough to see the break through.
It is here that our brain takes over and analyzes our situation.
Our brain acts on what it knows and this is the reason we must fill it with the word of God.
For every trouble, problem or circumstance that you face, God has a promise to cover it.
Husbands and fathers - you have to lead the way!
You must find the time alone and with your family to study and read God’s word.
Accept the faith that God has given you and then live with it, day in day out,
keep it with you everywhere you go!
Accept God’s word as the final authority
and then you will begin to see the power of God come to life!
